The Kwara ACReSAL team led by the representative of the State Project Coordinator, Engr. Abubakar Hussain today makes an on spot assessment to Iponrin Community, Ilorin East LGA, Kwara State.
He said the visit became imperative as part of the approved activities of the project implementation in the State and the community.
Engr. Hussain noted that the community is one of the catchment area in the work plan of the ACReSAL project, having gotten the approval from the World Bank for implementation.
He said there will be need for the constructions of bridge and earth dam in the farm land which will help achieve the motive of the community development, noting that new nursery will also be established as well as gully stabilisation and erosion control.
The Baale of Iponrin Community, Alhaji Ahmed Musa in his remark appreciated the team for the timely visit while giving consent to the World Bank project implementation in the area for the development of the State.
He however prays that God continue to uplift the World bank project body, guide the Kwara State Governor aright, guide and protect the Kwara ACReSAL team in all endeavors.
The National Chairman, Iponrin Community, Alhaji Alihu Akanbi Usman thanked the team for the visit while promising the community's maximum support for the project achievement in the State.
