The Kwara State Commissioner for Special Duties, Hon Abosede Olaitan Buraimoh has again celebrated her birthday with the orphanage home in the State.
As part of her statutory and moral obligations to the less privileged and the needy, she said this year's birthday celebration is to be a remarkable one for her.
In the same vein, in continuation of her birthday and one year in office celebration, the Commissioner also distributed some instructional materials to schools at Ijagbo including Oyun Baptist High School, Erin ile Secondary school, Ipee Baptist Grammar school and Ansaru Deen College among others, as part of her empowerment programme.
Buraimoh said this is part of contributing her quota to the progress of the state in the educational sector which shows that teachers are doing a great job and tremendously well, inculcating moral values in the young ones.
While appreciating the presence of the Olora of Ijagbo, High Chief Mudasiru Bamidele and his fatherly role, she said his immense contribution to the development of the state and ijagbo is not an oversight.
The Commissioner commended the Executive Governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq for being an examplary leader who desires his people's comfort and success at all times.
She however admonishes the student to be focused and show sense of commitment to fulfilling their ambitions in life, become a good ambassador as well as avoiding negative peer group influence and also urge the audience to collect their PVC and vote for continuity of development.
In his remark, the Olora of Ijagbo, High Chief, Mudasiru Bamidele said the gesture is rare one which has portrays the Commissioner as a lovable person and the daughter of the soil having the desire for the success of the state.
Part of the celebration activities entails, presentation of instructional materials and cutting of the birthday cake with the celebrant.
