FG 1.2M Rice Pyramid, price of Commodity Goes Higher

Despite the unveiling of 1.2 million rice pyramid recently by Federal Government the price of the commodity is unbearable to masses as the 50kg sold for N27,360 now sold N33,000 and 10k sold for N4,800 is now sold N6,000. During the paddy rice unveiling ceremony in Abuja, FG made promise to make the commodity available and affordable to the Nigerians, but reverse is the case. "Security challenges in the country have denied us access to the farm. you don't expect me to go the farm and someone kidnapped me to request for N100,000 ransom where will i get money?" Farmer lamented.
