2Baba donates Music Studio to OAU

 


Multi-award-winning music star, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba has donated a music studio to the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ife.

2Baba on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, commissioned the multimillion naira studio he built for the OAU music department.

The Hypertek boss made the revelation on social media where he shared photos and videos from the ceremony with his fans and followers.

In a post on his Instagram page, the award-winning artist wrote, “Some time ago I was honored by the Great OAU as I was inducted into the school of music as A Fellow Of The School of Music.

"Today I just commissioned the multimillion naira studio I built for the music department in OAU ile-ife. Up next is Benue State University."

Present at the event to receive 2Baba was the Vice-Chancellor of the institution, Professor Eyitope Ogunbodede.

Ogunbodede in his welcome address thanked and appreciated the singer for his kind gesture.

The VC revealed that OAU now has the best recording studio in any Nigerian university, thanks to 2Baba.
