The accident, which happened about 4 pm along Jebba-Bode-Saadu Road, involved two vehicles, it was learned.
No fewer than 15 persons were said to have sustained various degrees of injuries
The vehicles involved were a Corolla Salon private car and Toyota Hiace commercial bus.
Sector Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Jonathan Owoade confirmed the incident.
Owoade said the accident was caused by wrongful overtaking, adding that the bodies of the deceased had been deposited at the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital (UITH).
He added the injured were recuperating in two private hospitals in Jebba, Moro's local government area of the state.
