All You Need to Know About KWASU Top Up Programme



Kwara State University (KWASU) has opened its portal for those who want to apply for its HND Conversion programme 2021/2022 academic session.

The programme which is popularly known as KWASU Top-Up aims to address the dichotomy between B.Sc. and HND certificate holders. It is for HND graduates and degree holders who intend to change the class of their degree to beat discrimination in their workplace.

To apply for the KWASU conversion programme, go to www.myportal.kwasu.edu.ng and pay for the application form at the cost of N7,500 (seven thousand five hundred naira only).

Once you are admitted for the conversion programme, you will be notified via the email you provided during registration or/and via SMS. After that, you are expected to head to www.myportal.kwasu.edu.ng to pay the acceptance fee worth 5,300 naira only.

The school fee for the programme is 140,000 naira per session. The school allows payment of tuition fees in three (3) installments per session.

The duration of the programme is two seasons which comprises six semesters. The next set will commence lectures on December 7, 2021.

It is worthy to note that aside from the tuition fee, students are required to pay 10,000 per semester as an Administrative Charge and 1,000 Students Union fee.

Below is a step-by-step guide on how to apply for KWASU Conversion Programme:

  1. Visit www.myportal.kwasu.edu.ng
  2. Click on “Create an Account”.
  3. Fill the application form by supplying your details.
  4. Click on “Register”.
  5. Click on “Save and Proceed to Payment” to make a non-refundable application fee of Seven Thousand, Five Hundred Naira Only (N7,500)
  6. Fill the form online and upload credentials accordingly
  7. Submit the form by clicking on “apply”
